I just wanted to get in touch to say so sorry for your loss and thank you so much for setting up a Tribute Page in memory of Nick for Willen Hospice, to help us be there for others in their time of need.
Your incredible support will help us to continue to support people and families at the hardest time of their lives. You might be interested to know about remembering them in another way:
Getting an engraved leaf on our Tree of Life
The Tree of Life and surrounding Peace Garden are there to help celebrate loved ones lives. A place for families and friends to spend time and remember in a peaceful and tranquil setting. An engraved leaf with a personalised message is a poignant and lasting tribute to a loved one, if they passed away at the hospice or somewhere else. Donations for it will help us to be there for others, see here for more: https://www.willen-hospice.org.uk/get-involved/fundraising/tree-of-life
We simply cannot provide amazing care for people at the end of their lives without the support of people like you. Willen Hospice does everything we can so people feel relief from pain and families can enjoy the precious moments they have left with each other.
Do let me know if we can help in any other way.

He Is Gone
You can shed tears that he is gone
Or you can smile because he has lived
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him
Or you can be full of the love that you shared
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday
You can remember him and only that he is gone
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
